The Saxnäs GTX Women boots are in beautiful, high-quality leather. They are particularly at home when trekking and hunting in the mountains and on other rough terrain. Despite their leather construction, they are surprisingly light, and exceptionally comfortable, with a stiff sole to provide the support you need when the ground conditions are uneven. The boots have a field-tested, waterproof GORE-TEX membrane and are designed and manufactured in Europe. We stand behind their quality. As for all our footwear, we offer a two-year warranty that covers you in the unlikely event of any material or manufacturing defect in the boots.

Description

The Saxnäs GTX Women boots weigh only around 580 g per boot, despite their robust, hardwearing leather construction. They have a medium-length, 6”/15 cm shaft and a last especially designed for women. The boots are explicitly tailored to the shape of women’s feet and are not just smaller versions of the men’s model.

The Saxnäs GTX Women boots feature a waterproof GORE-TEX Sierra membrane. During manufacture, all boot membranes are tested in a waterbath, to ensure they are waterproof. We then perform a 30-minute centrifuge test on a 5% sample of total boot production, as a further guarantee that the membrane is of the highest possible quality.

The boot’s upper is made from nubuck leather and the soles are stiff Vibram®, for the support you need when in the mountains and on rocky terrain. The boots also feature a shock-absorbing midsole, for long-distance walking comfort even on very rugged ground. They are reinforced with full-length rands made from an extra robust material.
